Peroxisomes and glyoxisomes are called Microbodies. Peroxysomes are involved in the convertion of fatty acids into earbohydrates and in photorespiration. Glyoxysomes contain the enzymes of glyoxylatic cycle which convert stored lipids to carbohydrates.
