What are the methods used by plants to get rid of excretory products?

Explanation

Transpiration: Gaseous wastes and water are excreted through stomata, lenticels of the stem, and the outer surface of stems, fruits, etc.
Storing: Wastes may be stored in leaves, bark etc. which fall off from the plant.
Diffusion: Aquatic plants excrete metabolic wastes through diffusion. Terrestrial plants excrete into the soil.
Some waste products are stored as resins and gums in old xylem. Gums, resins, rubber, and latex are exuded from various parts of the plant body.
Crystals of certain chemical substances are stored in the plant body, e.g. calcium oxalate crystals called raphides in the leaf of colocasia.
In the bark and wood part of the trunk, tannin is stored. This makes the wood appear dark is stored as excretory materials but do not harm the plants.
