Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The mode of nutrition in amoeba is holozoic. Amoeba ingests its prey by engulfing it through its pseudopodia. Later the prey is transformed into a food vacuole. The prey is digested within the single cell, the essential nutrients are utilized by the amoeba and the undigested part is digested in the form of a vacuole through constriction.
