i] Asexual reproduction, is much faster compared to sexual reproduction. For example-species of bacteria, can completely rebuild a population from just a single individual in a matter of days if most members are wiped out.
ii] Only one parent is needed, no mate is required to create a new population.
iii] An enormous number of organisms can be produced in a very less time.
iv] Positive genetic influences pass on to successive generations.
