A concave mirror produces three times magnified (enlarged) real image of an object placed at 10 cm front of it. Where is the image located ?

Text Solution

`{:("Concave mirror",,),(m=-3,u=-10 cm,v=?),(,,"Nature of image = Real, magnified"):}`
Magnification, `m=-(v)/(u)`
`-3=-((v))/((-10))`
`v=-30`
An inverted image is formed at a distance of 30 cm on the left side of the concave mirror i.e., the same side as that of the object. (-ve signifies this).
