Will current flow more easily through a thick wire or a thin wire of the same material, when connected to the same source? Why?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The current will flow easily through a thick wire because the resistance of the thick wire [having area of cross-section larger as compared to thin wire] is less than thin wire.
