Compare and contrast biomass and hydroelectricity as energy sources.

Biomass and hydroelectricityY are renewable energy sources. Biomass is derived frorm dead plants and animal wastes. Hence, it is naturally replenished. It is the result of natural processes. Wood, gobar gas, etc., are some examples of biomass.
Hydroelectricity, In contrast, is obtained from energy stored in water at a height. Energy from it can be produced again and again. lt is harnessed from water and used for mechanical processes.
