What are the advantages and disadvantages of using a solar cooker? Are there places where solar cookers would have limited utlity?

Advantages:
(i) Solar cooker uses sun.s energy to heat and cook food. The sun is an inexhaustible and a clean renewable energy source.
(ii) It does not produce smoke or other residues and so the environment does not get polluted.
(iii) When food is cooked in a solar cooker, all the nutrients are retained as it cooks food at a very low temperature.
Disadvantages :
(i) lt does not work without suniight. Hence, on a cloudy day. it becomes useless.
(ii) The places where the days are too short or places with cloud covers round the year have limited utility for a solar cooker.
(iii) As the drection of the sun changes with respect to the earth, the direction of reflection of the solar cooker has to be changed accordingly.
