Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. Then why is there so much noise about energy crisis ?

Yes, it is true that energy can neicher be created nor be destroyed and one form of energy can be converted into another fom. But the fact is that energy in the usable form is dissipated to the surroundings in the less-usable form. For example, when a candle burms, it ghves heac, ight, and othe substances but the generated heat, light, and other substances cannot be put together to give wax to be used again.
