1. All three are carbon compounds. They have same number of carbon atoms.
2. All are hydrocarbons.
3. All contain covalent bonds, that is they are covalent compounds.
4. All are in gaseous state at room temperature.
Differences : 1. Propane `(C_(3)H_(8))` is a saturated hydrocarbon. It contains only covalent single bonds.
2. Propane `(C_(3)H_(6))` is an unsaturated hydrocarbon. It contains a triple bond.
4. The number of hydrogen atoms is 8 in propane, 6 in propene and 4 in propyne.
