RNA splicing

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

RNA splicing Splicing is the editing of the nascent precursor of mRNA transcript into a mature mRNA. After splicing, introns are removed and exons are joined together. The process of splicing involves two successive transesterification reactions. RNA splicing is carried out with the help of a large complex called spliceosome.
