Food chain is a sequence of populations or organisms of an ecosystem through which the food and its energy passes with each member and becomes the food of a later member of the sequence. It is actually a feeding chain of organisms in an ecosystem.
There are mainly two types of food chain:
(i) Grazing food chain (ii) Detritus food chain
