An electron enters in uniform electric field with initial velocity `5 xx 10 ^(4) ms ^(-1)` such that it attains the acceleration `10 ^(4) ms ^(-2)` in the direction of its initial motion.
(i) Calculate the necessary time required for the electron to attain the double velocity as compared to its initial velocity.
(ii) How much distance the electron would cover during this interval of time?
