Newton.s third law of motion states that to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction and they act on two different bodies The horse exerts a force on the ground with its feet in the backward direction, the ground exerts an equal and opposite force on the feet of the horse and the horse moves forward and the cart 18 pulled by the horse.
