Yes, when an object experiences a net zero external unbalanced force. Its acceleration is zero according to the second law of motion. If the object was initially in a state of motion, then the object will continue to move in the same direction with the same speed according to the first law of motion. Its magnitude and direction of velocity must remain constant throughout.
