Why does a sheet of paper fall slower than one that is crumpled into a ball ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The area of the sheet of paper is more than that of its ball.
So the sheet of paper will experience a larger air resistance than that of its ball form. Hence, the sheet of paper falls slowly than its ball form.
