If the moon attract the earth why does the earth not move towards the moon?

The moon attracts the earth with a force equal to that with which the earth attracts the moon. The earth is much larger as compared to the moon. So, the acceleration produced in the earth is not noticeable. Hence the earth sloes not move towards the moon.
