The frequency of a source of sound is 100 Hz. How many times does it vibrate in a minute?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Here, frequency v =100 Hz
Frequency is the number of oscillations made by a vibrating body in 1 second.
`therefore` the number of vibrations in 1 s=100
`therefore` the number of vibrations in I min, i.e..
in 60 s = `100xx60`=6000.
The vibrations of the source is 6000 in 1 min
