Find the length of an arc of a circle of radius 5cm subtending a central angle measuring `15^0dot`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Length of an arc is given by ,
`l = pi/180*r *theta`
Here, `r = 5cmand theta = 15^@`
`:. l = pi/180*5*15 = (5pi)/12 cm`
So, the length of the arc is `(5pi)/12 cm`.
