`{:("Sum of numbers","Numbers on two dices","Number of"),(" on two dices",," cases"),(" 8","(4, 4),(3, 5), (5, 3), (2, 6), (6, 2)"," 5"),(" 9","(4, 5),(5, 4), (3, 6),(6, 3)"," 4"),(" 10","(5, 5),(4, 6), (6, 4)"," 3"),(" 11","(5, 6),(6, 5)"," 2"),(" 12","(6, 6)"," 1"):}`
If P(i) is probability of event in which sum of the numbers on two dices is 'i' then
Required probability is,
P(8) + P(9) + P(10) + P(11) + P(12)
`=(5)/(36) + (4)/(36) + (3)/(36) + (2)/(36) + (1)/(36) = (15)/(36) = (5)/(12)`
