Solve `sqrt(x-2)geq-1.`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The correct Answer is:
`x in [-1, 2 ]`

Since `sqrt(2+x-x^2) ` is defind only if
`2+x- x^2 ge 0 `
or ` (x-2) ( x+2) le 0`
or `-1 le x le 2`
For these value of x, R.H.S `lt 0 " hence " x in [-1, 2]`
