Shade the regions where points satisfy `|x-y| lt 1`.

Points satisfying (i) lying the region common to two regions satisfied by the inequalities `x-y gt -1 and x-y lt 1`.
For `x-y+1 gt0`, the half region is one in which `(0, 0)` lies as this point satisfies `x-y +1 gt 0`.
For `x-y-1 lt 0`, the half region is one in which `(0, 0)` lies as this point satisfies `x-y-1 lt 0`.
Hence the common region is as shown in the following figure.
