Verified by Experts

The Copper releasing IUDs are Multiload 375 ,CuT, CU 7 etc. These devices slowly allow the diffusion of copper at the rate of 50 mg/day. IUDs increase phagocytosis of sperms in the uterus and the copper ions released suppress the sperm motility and their ability to fertilize the ovum.
