The correct Answer is:
B

Arrhenius equation is `k=Ae^(-"ExRT")`
In the presence `k. = Ae^(-"ExRT")`
On dividing eg (ii) by eq (i), we get
`(k.)/( k) = c^("Ea"//"Rt"^1)// "RT"`
`(k.)/( k) = e((2000)/( 3 xx 300) ) = e^(3.33)`
`because` on taking log both sides,
`Log"" (k.)/( k) = (3.33)/( 2.303)`
`(k.)/( k) =` antilog `1.446 = 27.92 =28`
we know that, rate (R) `alpha` K
`therefore (R^1)/( R) = (k^2)/( k) 28`
`therefore R^1 = 28`R

In the presence of a catalyst, the activation energy is lowered by 3 Kcal at 27^(@) c .Hence the rate of reaction will increase by :

At 227^(@)C , the presence of catalyst causes the activation energy of a reaction to decrease by 4.606 K cal. The rate of the reaction will be increased by : -

For a given reaction, presence of catalyst reduces the energy of activation by 2 kcal at 27^(@)C . Thus rate of reaction will be increased by:

A poistive catalyst increases the activation energy of the reaction.

In presence of a catalyst, the activation energy is lowered by "2" kcal at \(127^{o}\)C .Hence, the rate as compared to the old rate is \(e^{x}\) times. then the value of "x" is
