How do antiseptics differ from disinfectants ? Give one example of each.

Antiseptics are applied to the living tissues such as ulcers, wounds, cuts etc., whereas disinfectants are applied to inanimate objects such as floors, drainage systems etc., for preventing the growth of or killing the micro-organisms.
