A simple pendulum is used in physics laboratory for experiment to obtain experimental value of gravitational acceleration g. A student measures the length of pendulum `0.51 m`, displaces it through `10^@` from equilibrium position and released it. Using a stopwatch, the student measures period of pendulum as `1.44 s`. Determine the experimental value of the gravitational acceleration.

A simple pendulum of length 1 m is freely suspended from the ceiling of an elevator. The time period of small oscillations as the elevator moves up with an acceleration of 2m//s^2 is (use g=10 m//s^2 )

Two simple pendulum A and B of lengths 1.69m and 1.44m start swinging at the time from a location where acceleration due to gravity is 10ms^(-1) . Answer the following question. After how much time, the two pendulums will be in phase again ?

The acceleration due to gravity is determined by using a simple pendulum of length l = (100 pm 0.1)cm . If its time period is T = (2 pm 0.01)s , find the maximum percentage error in the measurement of g.

A student measures the value of g with the help of a simple pendulum using the formula g = (4pi^(2)L)/(T^(2)) . He measures length L with a meter scale having least count 1 mm and finds it 98.0 cm . The time period is measured with the help of a watch of least count 0.1s . The time of 20 oscillations is found to be 40.4 s. The error Deltag in the measurment of g is (" in" m//s^(2)) .

The period of oscillation of a simple pendulum is T = 2pisqrt((L)/(g)) . Meaured value of L is 20.0 cm know to 1mm accuracy and time for 100 oscillation of the pendulum is found to be 90 s using a wrist watch of 1 s resolution. The accracy in the determinetion of g is :
