A horse is tied to a peg at one corner of a square shaped grass field of side 15 m by means of a 5 m long rope ( see Fig, 12. 11 ). Find (i) the area of that part of the field in which the horse can graze,(ii) the increase in the grazing area if the rope were 10 m long instead of 5 m.(Use pi=3.14 )

A bus stop is barricaded from the remaining part of the road, by using 50 hollow cones made of recycled cardboard. Each cone has a base diameter of 40 cm and height 1 m. If the outer side of each of the cones is to be painted and the cost of painting is Rs 12 per m^2 , what will be the cost of painting all these cones (use pi = 3.14 , and take sqrt(1.04)=1.02 ) ?

Length of a room is 1 1/3 times its breadth and its height is 1/2 times its length. The cost of white washing the walls at the rate of Rs 2.60per m^2 is Rs 291.20. find the cost of tiling the floor at the rate of Rs 8 per m^2 .
