Side of square = 10 cm Perimeter of square
= 4`xx` side of square
`= 4 xx 10`
Perimeter of square = 40 cm
Now, side of square is double.
New side of square = `10 xx 2 = 20` cm
New perimeter of square
=`4 xx ` New side of square
`= 4 xx 20 = 80` cm
Old perimeter = 40
New perimeter = 80
Its clearly visible that perimeter also become twice of old one.
