Archaeopteryx is a connecting link berween reptiles and birds. It was of the size of crow and had both reptilian and avian characters. Presence of teeth in jaws, fingers having claws, long tail with free caudal vertebrae are the reptilian characters. While, presence of feathers on the body, and forelimbs modified into wings are the avian characters.
