Since, `4^(n)-3n-1=(1+3)^(n)-3n-1`

`implies 4^(n)-3n-1` is a multiple of 9 for `n ge 2`
For `n = 1, 4^(n) - 3n - 1 = 4 - 3 - 1 = 0`
