The length of each side of a cubical closed surface is `l` If charge `q` is situated on one of the vertices of the cube , then find the electric flux passing through shaded face of the cube.

The correct Answer is:
`q/(24 in_(0))`

Eight cubes encloses a charge. For a cube, the three surface meeting the charge contribute to zero flux. Hence the rest three surface including the shaded surface have equal flux passing through them and are equal to `q/(24 in_(0))`.
