A particle is moving along a circular along a circular path of radius 5 m with a uniform speed `5ms^(-1)`. What will be the average acceleration when the particle completes half revolution?

A

Zero

B

10 ms−2

C

10π ms−2

D

10/π ms−2

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The correct Answer is:
C

In ground frame [A] it is simply a projectile motion. But in [B] frame horizontal component of the displacement is zero i.e. in this frame only vertical comp. appear which is responsible for the maximum height.
