Water drops are falling from a pipe at 5 m height at regular interval of time. When the third drop is released at the same time the first drop touches the ground. Then the height of second drop from ground is ....... m. (g = 10 ms^(-2) )

Water drops are falling in regular intervals of time from top of a tower to height 9 m. If 4^(th) drop begins to fall when 1^(st) drop reaches the ground, find the positions of 2^(nd) & 3^(rd) drops from the top of the tower.

Water drops fall at regular intervals from a tap 5 m above the ground. The third drop is leaving the tap, the instant the first drop touches the ground. How far above the ground is the second drop at that instant. (g = 10 ms^-2)

A ball is dropped from the top of a building. The ball takes 0.50 s to fall past the 3m length of a window, which is some distance below the top of the building. (a) How fast was the ball going as it passed the top of the window? (b) How far is the top of the window from the point at which the ball was dropped? A ball is dropped from the top of a building the ball takes 0.5 s to fall past the 3 m length of a window at certain distance from the top of the building. Speed of the ball as it crosses the top edge of the window is (g=10 m//s^(2))

A stone is tied to an elastic string of negligible mass and spring constant k. The unstretched length of the string is L and has negligible mass. The other end of the string is fixed to a nail at a point P. Initially the stone is at the same level as the point P. The stone is dropped vertically from point P. (a) Find the distance 'y' from the top when the mass comes to rest for an instant, for the first time. (b) What is the maximum velocity attained by the stone in this drop ? (c) What shall be the nature of the motion after the stone has reached its lowest point ?

Two balls are dropped from different heights at different instants. Seconds ball is dropped 2 sec. after the first ball. If both balls reach the ground simultaneousl after 5 sec. of dropping the first ball. then the difference of initial heights of the two balls will be :- (g=9.8m//s^(2))
