Adrenaline is catechlolamine hormone. Also known as epinephrine. Secereted by the mammaalian adrenal medulla as well the adrenergic nerve endings. Its seretion is stimulated by the synpathetic nervous system under conditions of stress. A drenaline stimulates blood flow to skeletal muscles and increases blood glucose level. It also raises metabolic rate.
