A rice bag of 100 kg is lifted up by four workers to a height of 10 m from the groud . Find the work done by each worker (Assume that four workers muscular energies are equal).

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The correct Answer is:
`25 xx 10^(2)` J

Mass `= 10^(2)` kg, g = 10 `ms^(-2)`, S = 10 m
Work done by a worker `= (mgh)/(4) = (100 xx 10 xx 10)/(4)`
`= 25 xx 10^(2) J`
