Water is taken in a stainless steel contaienr and heated. Heating is stopped and a lid is placed on the container. What could be your observation?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

When water is subjected to heating, steam is obtained. If a lid is placed on top of the vessel, steam cannot escape out and gets accumulated in the vessel on the surface of water. As heating is stopped the steam is cooled down and gets condensed to water droplets on the inner surface of the lid.
