Enormous increase in the surface temperature of earth due to increase in the levels of carbon dioxide and other gases, such as methane, ozone in atmosphere is called global warming. Reduction in the use of fossil fuels and controlling deforestation are some measures to prevent global warming. Growing more and more plants is obviously the most essential requirement for controlling global warming.
