If a light ray incident on a plane mirro...

If a light ray incident on a plane mirror makes an angle `30^(@)` with it, find the angle of incidence and angle of reflection.

Text Solution

It is given that the incident ray makes an angle `30^@` with the mirror. But the angle of incidence is the angle between the incident ray and the normal. Then, `angle i = 90^@ - 30^@ = 60^@` on applying laws of reflection,
`angle i = angle r = 60^@`
