A student breaks a fused bulb, and then hears a sound of explosion. What could be the reason for this ? Explain.

Initially, inside the bulb, low pressure inert gases are present. When the student breaks the bulb, air gushes inside the bulb, and hence, sounds like an explosion is heard.
