What is the common household source of `CFC_s`? How these gases affect the ozone layer?

`CFC_s` are widely used as refrigerants. When they are discharged in the lower part of stratosphere. In stratosphere, UV- rays act on them releasing Cl atoms. Cl degrades ozone releasing molecular oxygen.Cl atmos are not consumed in this reaction. Hence, once `CFC_s` are added to the stratosphere, they have permanent and continuous effects on ozone levels.
