When a charge +Q is placed at the centre of spherical cavity as shown in the figure

Then charges induced on the linner surface of a shell is -Q and charges induced. On the outer surface of a shell is +Q
Therefore , surface charge density on inner surface of shell is `(-Q)/(4piR_1^(2)) ` and on outer surface of shell is `(+Q)/(4 pi R_2^(2))`
