Plot a graph showing the variation of C...

Plot a graph showing the variation of Coulomb's force (F ) versus ` 1//r^(2) ` , where r is the distance between the two charges of each pair of charges `( 1 mu C , 2 mu C ) and ( 1 mu C , - 3mu C ) `. Interpret the graphs obtained.

According to Coulomg.s law , the magnitude of force acting between two stationary point charges is given by
` F = ((q_1q_2)/(4 pi in _0) ) ((1)/(r^(2)))`
For given `q_1q_2 , F prop ((1)/(r^(2))) `
` For (1 muC , - 3 mu C ) `
The slope of ` F - (1)/(r^(2))` graph depends on `q_1 and q_2`
Magnitude of ` q_1q_2 ` is higher for second pair.
` therefore ` Slope of `F - (1)/(r^(2))` graph. corresponding to second pair
`( 1 muC - 3muC ) ` is greater.Higher the magnitude of product of charges `q_1 and q_2` higher will be the slope.
