We have` (x+1)^2 lt 5x -1`
`rArr x^2-3x +2 lt 0 `
`rArr (x-1)(x-2)lt0 `
`rArr x lt 1 or x gt 2`
And `(x+1)^2 le 7x -3`
`x^2- 5x +4 lt 0 `
`rArr (x-1)(x-4) lt 0 `
`1 lt x lt 4 `
From (i) and (ii) common values are `x in (2,4)`
