Write down the sequence whose nth term is `2^n//n` and (ii) `[3+(-1)^n]//3^n`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

(i) Let `t_(n)=2^(n)/n` and put n=1,2,3,4,… we get
`t_(1)=2,t_(2)=2,t_(3)=8//3,t_(4)=4`
So, the sequence is 2,2,8/3,4…
(ii) Let `t_(n)=[3+(-1)^(n)]//3^(n)` and put n=1,2,3,4,…
So, the sequence is `2//3,4//9,2/27,4/81`,….
