AIDS is a disorder of immune system of the body. It is caused by retrovirus-HIV (human immunodeficiency virus). This virus weakens the human body.s immune system, i.e., self defense mechanism. As AIDS virus reduces the natural self-defence mechanism of the human body, the latter becomes prone to several other infections. Thus, a person suffering from AIDS becomes sick frequently .
