Explanation

As a consequence of population explosion, we need more food, cloth, shelter and other resources. In order to meet the increasing demand of food, more grains, vegetables and fruits, etc., are to be grown by using fertilisers and pesticides. For providing shelter and cloth, forests are cut to build houses and establish industries. All this leads to ecological imbalances and becomes a big cause of pollution.
