The resistors AF and FE are in series. Their equivalent reistance is `3Omega+3Omega=6Omega`. This is connected in parallel with AE. Their equivalent between A and E is, therefore,
`(6Omegaxx6Omega)/(6Omega+6Omega)=3Omega`
This `3Omega` resistance between A and E is in series with ED and the combination is in parallel with AD.
Their equivalent between a and D is again `3Omega`.
Similarly, the `3Omega` is in series with CD and the combination is in parallel with AB. The equivalent resistance between A and B is, therefore,
`(6Omegaxx3Omega)/(6Omega+3Omega)=2Omega`
