Two insulated identically sized charged copper spheres A and B have their centers separated by a distance 50 cm. Charges on each sphere is q=6.5× 10^(-7) C. A third sphere of the same size but uncharged is brought in contact with the first, then brought in contact with the second, and finally removed from both. What is the new force of repulsion between A and B?

Two fixed, equal, positive charges, each of magnitude 5xx10^-5 coul are located at points A and B separated by a distance of 6m. An equal and opposite charge moves towards them along the line COD, the perpendicular bisector of the line AB. The moving charge, when it reaches the point C at a distance of 4m from O, has a kinetic energy of 4 joules. Calculate the distance of the farthest point D which the negative charge will reach before returning towards C.

Two insulated charged copper spheres A and B have their centres separated by a distance of 50 cm. What is the mutual force of electrostatic repulsion if the charge on each is 6.5 xx 10^-7 C ? The radii of A and B are negligible compared to the distance of separation. What is the force of repulsion if each sphere is charged double the above amount, and the distance between them is halved?

Two identical plane metallic surfaces A and B are parallel to each other in air separated by a distance of 1 cm as shown in the fig. Surface A is given a postive potential 10 V and the outer surface of B is earthend What is the magnitude and direction of the uniform electric field between points Y and Z?

A magnetic filed vecB=B_0 sin"(omega t)hatk covers a large region where a wire AB slides smoothly over two parallel conductors separated by a distance d (Fig. EP 6.22). The wires are in the x-y plane. The wire AB (of length d) has resistance R and parallel wires have negligible resistance. If AB is moving with velocity v, what is the current in the circuit? what is the force needed to keep the wire moving at constant velocity?

Two identical plane metallic surfaces A and B are kept parallel to each other in air separated by a distance of 10 cm as shown in Figure. Surface A is given a positive Potential of 10 V and outer surface of B is earthed. What is the magnitude and directions of uniform electric field between points Y and Z?

There are two coils A and B separated by some distance. If a current of 2A flows through A, a magnetic flux of 10^-2 Wb passes through B(no current through B). If no current passes through A and a current of 1A passes through B, what is the flux through A?
