Why is using tobacco in any form injurious to the health? Explain.

Explanation

Tobacco ingredients are very harmful as follows-
1. CO. Tobacco smoke has 2-6%. Co which combines with haemoglobin and forms carboxy haemoglobin and impairs `O_2` transport, CNS functioning etc.
2. Nicotine is a stimulant which causes release of dopamine in the brain, which is a depressant in large amounts, causes tremors, dipresses respirations, increase in heart beat, paralysis of skelital muscles etc.
3. Tar in tobacco, causes irritation, cough and is carcinogenic.
4. Carcinogens. Tobacco smoke has many carcinogens like Nitrosoamines, Hydrazine etc.
