reduce pollutants.
(ii) Catalytic converters having expensive metals like platinum, pallodium and rhodium as
catalysts are fitted into automobiles for reducing emission of poisonous gases.
(iii) Vehicles equipped with catalytic converter should use unleaded petrol that inactivates catalyst.
(iv) Use of electrostatic precipitators and scrubbers in industries.
(v) Stringent pollution level norms for vehicles i.e., vehicles have to meet the Euro III norms.
(vi) Use of public transport
(vii) Using CNG Operated vehicle.
(viii) Use of low sulphur petrol and diesel.
(ix) Use of solar, wind energy, biogas instead of fossil fuels.
